Prayer of Now

Lord, You have brought me to this place.

Let me give it full embrace.

Take from me any foolish fear.

Where you’ve called me to is here.

Rest me in Your mighty love.

Lock my mind on things above.

My heart enfold in Your great heart.

Let nothing pull the two apart.

Quiet me as you have done.

Make our fellowship as one.

Speak to me in still small voice,

Your rule, Your Kingdom my one choice,

In You to move and have my being,

Your word my guide, my way of seeing,

Your hand the comfort of my brow,

Life eternal to live right now.

“And this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent.”
John 17:3

  1. An especially pertinent poem for me this day…be right here where I am, where He has called me…HERE. Thank you for stilling my heart.
    Caring through Christ, ~ linda

  2. God speaking to two people who both need to hear the same thing, Linda… = Wondrous! So happy to meet you through Still Saturday.

  3. A wash of peace… yes, that is what so many of us need. His grace poured… Thanks for this beauty, Sylvia.
