Psalm 23, A psalm of David.
[A picture-personalized testimony]
The LORD is my shepherd, I shall lack nothing.
He makes me lie down in green pastures,
He leads me beside quiet waters.
He restores my soul.
He guides me along the paths of righteousness for His name’s sake.
Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for You are with me; Your rod and your staff, they comfort me.
You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies.
You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows.
Surely your goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life
and I will dwell in the house of the LORD forever.
-Psalm 23, (Mostly NIV)

Wow. This is simply beautiful and God-honoring, and brings those Scriptures to life. Just … wow.
Such great photo illustrations of this passage!
Beautiful. Simply beautiful. Thank you.
Never would have thought of illustrating this psalm photographically. It’s so comforting and beautiful. Thank you.

Loveliness found here.
That was great. I had a medical procedure on Thursday and I quoted this verse in my head, then the last line; “And I shall dwell in the house of the Lord forever,” over and over. God’s word is a thing of obvious truth, but comfort. The test was fine, but better yet was the comfort during. We’re on the same page this week. My favorite verse in pictures. Really cool. Thanks.
What a beautiful and artistic way to share this Psalm. Very moving.
The 23rd Psalm, what rich promises there! A peaceful post indeed!
I love how you captured this Psalm visually. Beautifully creative! 🙂
You just made me grin from ear to ear!!! Loved this with the creative mix of photos, but fully filled with the Word. THANKS!!
AMEN!!
Bobbi! How good to see you here! I’ve been thinking of you so much lately.
Glad to picture you grinning so, Joanne!
Thank you, Denise, Stephani, and Lyli, for your kind comments.
Floyd,
I’m glad your test turned out well. God does that kind of timely thing lots, doesn’t He? Just what we need, just when we need it.
Jen (F., and Dukes Lee), also Elizabeth and Patricia, thank you so much for kind encouragement.
Lynn,
I’d had this in my head for quite a while. Not an original approach, though. My son illustrated this very Psalm photographically in a college project—totally different scenes, however.
